UPDATE: I've been able to have the control changes submit when I arm the related track in my DAW (Ableton), but ideally I'd like to be able to control the signals on my Microkorg live and not through my DAW. I’m buying it used, is there any way to differentiate the two just by it’s physical appearance or by its serial number Thanks MK1 is grey MK2 is black. Furthermore, when I test the MIDI connection through the Audio Midi setup app on Mac, I'm getting pings from the factory settings (and they're also working in Ableton) but not from the User Template setting. I am looking forward to buy a Launch Control XL Mk2 for it’s standalone feature and for it’s compatibility with Novation Components Standalone. I've mapped all of the CC's in Novation Components on a User Template, but none of the buttons or knobs are registering the changes on the Microkorg. I'm having trouble getting my Novation Launch Control XL to cooperate with controlling my external Synth (Microkorg XL).
